Today we live in a church world where we say and quote all the right things but many times not really experiencing all that Father God has for us to experience.  The Lord wants us to stay continually in His Presence; filled with His Spirit; saturated in the love of God.  Ephesians 5:18- and be not drunk with wine wherein is excess but be filled with the Spirit.  This word filled is an interesting word; it means controlled, saturated, overwhelm! When was the last time you have been "overwhelmed" by the Spirit of the Lord.  I dont mean intellicually stimulated but truly experientially overwhelmed by the Presence of the Lord.  I can show you several scriptures where believers were overwhelmed by the Spirit of God.  Acts 2:3-4: there appeared unto them cloven tongues of fire and it sat upon each of them and they were all "filled" with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.  Glory to God they were "filled" or overwhelmed by the Spirit of God at such a measure that a divine utterance of speaking in tongues flowed out of them.  Even David said that his cup runneth over; meaning that God's blessing of the Spirit should be an overflow of His power and love!   Acts 4 the apostles who were previously "filled" with the Spirit had another overwhelming experience in Acts chapter 4.  Acts 4:31- and when they had prayed the place was shaken where they were assembled together and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and they spake the word bodly!  I believe if the house shook that qualifies for overwhelmed! Notice they were "filled" again. The Holy Spirt manifested in them and on them in such a measure that the physical house they were in shook from the power of the Holy Spirit.  Let's look at Acts 19 with Paul and some disciples from Ephesus. Acts 19:5,6 - when they heard this they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus and when Paul laid hands on them , the Holy Ghost came on them and they spake with tongues and prophesied!  Notice the Holy Spirit "came on them." He literally and tangibly; like at Cornelius house with Peter, fell on these men and filled them. As they were filled they "spake" in tongues.  They were overwhelm by the Spirit

God wants to give us a fresh anointing; fresh oil in our lives.  Many have been introduced to the baptism of the Spirit and have spoken in tongues but the Lord wants you to have a fresh filling daily; where the Spirit fills your heart anew every day.  Fresh dose of His love and manifest Presence.  That's the "christian" life ; life in the Spirit ; a life of the flow of the river of God , flowing through your inner man and heart.

In the Old testament the 7 candlesticks that were in the Holy Place had to have it's oil changed every morning; this fresh oil allowed the light to shine brightly every day.  When we get a fresh anointing of the Spirit , this anointing allows us to shine our light to others.  Jesus said let our light shine so others may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.  That light is a result of the fresh flow of fresh oil ; a fresh anointing.  Stay in God's Presence long enough to allow the Holy Ghost to fall on you anew every day.  I really mean that!! Commune and tarry in worship until the anointing of the Spirit come upon and in you. This will become a lifestyle of Faith walking in the divine nature of God by Christ ; walking in victory over the flesh and sin, exemplifying the Word of grace to others.
